My Bio
I love to draw in Pencil and Pen & Ink. Mostly I draw Abstracts because they have unlimited possibilities. I can use my imagination to draw things that have not been seen in this world. I can spend hours drawing in my own world. To imagine something, something that comes from inside of you and then place it on paper is a wonderful experience. To see these images complete, to know that you have done this, anyhow, you see the mistakes, but knowing that many others will not, is something that cannot be explained.
My day job is teaching Talented Art at a Gifted & Talented school. I love my job!!! Most of my students are extremely talented and want to learn about art.

I have time off from work, so that means that I can finally stop ignoring my muse. She has been brooding in the background, patiently waiting for me to place pencil to paper. So, here I go off into my own world.

Since I live in Louisiana schools are off for the Mardi Gras break. Three wonderful days of doing nothing, but art!!! Most people would be partying it out at the parades. Not me. I have been to way to many of them, so I am content to stay in my little place, with my husband, and work on my art. And of course browse the art in Deviant. I do enjoy the days when I get to work on my art ALL day, and not just for a hour or two. (Sighing in contentment.)
The piece I am working on right now is flowing rather well. Should be done with the outline today. Hope to start inking tonight or tomorrow morning. (Fingers Cross)
